Skills Development
EPI-USE Learning provides a skills development facilitation (SDF) service in assisting organisations to address their skills gaps and align their training and development initiatives with strategic objectives.
One of the outcomes of skills development is to facilitate the development of a training strategy for the company. This is important to provide a basis from which all training and learning can be directed, monitored and controlled.
All organisations registered at SARS pay 1% of their monthly payroll as a skills development levy. The biggest return on investment for your company is to submit a Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report on time so that, you can claim back 50 % of your annual skills development levy contributions. These funds can then be applied to further the skills development of your workforce.
Our skills development facilitator’s role is to firstly assist your company in managing all training to create meaningful and value-adding learning opportunities for your employees and secondly to claim back the 50% of levies paid. We follow a very consultative approach in gathering data and always involve a training committee where required. Ultimately, our aim is to encourage a culture of lifelong learning for our clients and help them to create an opportunity of growth for each an every employee.
