SAP® Software Training
EPI-USE Learning is an approved SAP Education Partner and is approved to develop and present generic public-schedule SAP End/Super User training known as SimplySAP. In addition EPI-USE Learning is the premier implementer of the SAP Learning Solution in EMEA.
We also have extensive experience in SAP training and training development projects and have managed and participated in several large-scale projects over the last few years. We pride ourselves in our customised training solutions that are designed, developed and implemented to meet our client’s specific needs. We make use of a productive and effective model that is based on sound project management and instructional design principles. Much time went into the definition of quality management and risk management processes and tools and this ensure a quality solution.
Our overall training strategy is to
- facilitate the learning process in SAP implementations and upgrade projects by ensuring that the training stream is aligned with
- the configuration and implementation plan,
- best practices for training and education,
- the requirements of the South African legislation;
- build capacity and empower our clients: provide for a sustainable training force through the transfer of relevant skills and knowledge, values and attitudes to trainers, develop and customise the required documentation and training material to support the continuous training process;
- improve corporate citizenship: develop training material that is aligned to your organisation’s business model;
- emphasize the role of the employee in the organisation: develop and deliver situated and contextualised learning experiences.
Our instructional strategy is guided by principles of cognitive learning theory and adult learning theory. All instructional strategies and learning activities and experiences are aimed to achieve the following:
- Active participation of the learner – reading, simulation of system, assessment, interaction, collaboration
- Continuous assessment – knowledge checks, multiple-choice self-assessment quizzes, system assessments
- Constructive feedback – interaction and collaboration.
- Continuous availability of learning material – electronic performance system support.
This is combined with the power of simulation-based learning, where learners can experience self-directed learning and different learning styles are supported:
- The first step is the Demo (See It) Mode, during which the user becomes familiar with the selected topic by viewing a step-by-step demonstration of the actions required to complete the chosen task.
- Next, the Practice (Try it) Mode lets the user practice the actions just shown in the Demo Mode by interacting with the simulated system. Helpful on-screen instructions and comments guide the user through the learning process during this mode.
- Finally, with the Test (Know it) Mode, the user’s competencies are assessed and reinforced as they repeat the operation again, this time without the on-screen instructions and comments.
