e-Learning Expert
The e-Learning Expert is a series of short courses that will enable trainers and instructional designers in training to design and develop courses and learning material for delivery in a blended learning environment. The focus of each course is on how to take learning, design, and teaching principles and methodologies and apply them in technology-based and technology-supported environments.
The format of each short course is similar. Each course starts with a compulsory face-to-face workshop between 3–5 days in duration. The contact sessions also provide an opportunity to meet the facilitators and other course participants. The rest of the course takes place via the Web. The online activities include collaborative and individual assigments, reading, and reviewing other resources. The facilitators are always available for advice and guidance.
